Tales Frey

Five Activation Tactics (2019)

From the intersection between performance, video, photography, relational object, and instruction, the exhibited works not only admit interaction but make better sense when activated by the audience. Through the use of props, costumes or specific objects (which are able to provide sculptural forms on or through human support), the audience becomes a participant, blending sculpture and dance in the communion between their bodies and artifacts.
