Entrar no Samba | Get into the Samba (2013) is a video performance that clearly refers to the act of repression, in an environment that produces some sexual connotation and, in some aspect, good-natured, despite the violence of the act.
The capture of the original audio, after being treated to issue a drier sound, alludes to the harsh sounds of firearms.
This work integrates the exhibition Orexia, which was totally originated through a dream and weighted in residency 6X6, which was produced by the NEC (Núcleo de Experimentação Coreográfica) at the Mosteiro de São Bento da Vitória in Porto – Portugal.
